[ Prince of Tennis, Gundam SEED, DNAngel/Megami Kouhosei ]
Notes/Babbling: I've been slacking lately, I've hardly read anything and I've not had a whole lot of luck with fanart lately. So... tired....

- Prince of Tennis - [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - Sometimes, I am a little slow on the uptake. So I've been to this site several times and always thought the art was quite pretty but there wasn't enough of it for me to rec, but this time I had the brilliant idea to actually explore a little by clicking on the Atobe link. Aha~~ And while there's not much more art, there are a handful of beautiful TezuAto illustrations and we all know what a geek I am for those two. I just adore the artist's coloring, the soft shading, and the lines/poses she puts the characters into. These are just... completely and utterly the character I fell in love with, her Atobe is just gorgeous, her Tezuka is just gorgeous, hell, even her Ryoma is gorgeous. ^_~ The main gallery has some beautiful illustrations of a lot of the characters and some very pretty TezuRyo, but it was really the TezuAto (which you may have to dig a bit for) that just had me swooning. (Some TezuAto, some TezuRyo, some OshitariAtobe, some misc. pairings.)
- Prince of Tennis - Little Betty [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - This site's art is a little on the rough side, but I wanted to recommend it anyway because there are a couple of illustrations that are just adorable, including one of Fuji and Ryoma on the court at night under a full moon, which I just adored the colors of. There are also some adorably cute illustrations and I actually really liked the comic a lot. It was one of those sites that was solid all-around and a pairing that I don't get to see nearly enough of. ^____^ (FujiRyo.)
- Gundam SEED - Black Zone [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - I admit, it took me a few clicks through this gallery to warm up to the artist's art, but as she goes along, she gets really good, the colors and lines start to get just lovely and the poses are wonderful. She covers a good selection of characters, but her Kira is just fabulous and her Ashuran is lovely--there's one of him in this dusky red-pink shirt that is just HOT. I think she must have used some sort of very light softener on the images, because they almost seem to glow and I totally go for an artist who can use that technique subtly; the shading is also wonderful and there's a nice selection of characters. All in all, the site is one of those that's just really solid and therefore makes it a wonderful treat to go through. ^________^ (No real pairings/warnings.)
- DNAngel/Megami Kouhosei - Collect Files [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - Oh. My. God. Massive, massive thanks to Gaki for pointing this site out to me, because I am deliriously in love with the art. First of all, it's difficult (or at least it has been so far, for me) to find DNAngel fanart, much less Megami Kouhosei fanart, much less BEAUTIFUL art like this; it's really just stunningly gorgeous. The colors are fantastic, really on par with the original mangaka's and just vivid and beautiful. The lines/proportions are fantastic, the shading is wonderful, the CG style absolutely, positively perfect for for the art she does, and the poses have me *hanyan~*'ing all over the place. Plus, she draws some of my favorite things--Daisuke and Satoshi from DNAngel, with a little Dark mixed in, and Gareas/Ernest from Megami Kohousei. Seriously? Words cannot begin to express my glee at the Gareas/Ernest and my love for this site. *_____*
