» "[Community's] Annie's fans can be really annoying, especially of a character who's best in small doses; I hope [oddball ships] happen and her fans all choke on their own bile" - Well, setting aside the issue of being an Annie fan or not (which I am, much to my surprise, because I never expected to be, but it makes sense in retrospect) this got me thinking on something I've been tossing around for awhile. Being a Jeff/Annie shipper, which seems to be growing in popularity, despite that there hasn't been that much interaction... I find myself in another Puck/Rachel-like ship, don't I? It feels so weird to me, because I don't think I used to be this fan, did I? Everyone brings up the Veronica Mars comparison, how Logan/Veronica just took off out of nowhere because the fans loved it, while I sit here going, ".........but I was on the other side there! I was all over Duncan/Veronica! WHY AM I ON THIS SIDE NOW??" (However, I would be TOTALLY OKAY with more Britta/Annie, plz. I would totally ship the hell out of that.)
» "After ep 7, I stopped shipping Shizuo/Izaya and started shipping [Shizuo/Celty]" - Yeah, well, welcome to the club. orz Okay, I still ship Shizuo/Izaya like crazy, but I... I'm wavering a lot. Though, I have to agree with some of the comments from the thread, in that... is there really that much drama from the Shizuo/Izaya shippers? I don't really think anyone's going to try to take your head off for not shipping them....
