- Bleach - Daily Grind by Orenji Shadowix - I really kind of liked this fic, it... fit with the characters here, the way this thing was just a thing, that Ishida didn't know what to make of it, that Ichigo brushes it off as being just exactly what it is. The writing was smooth, but still with a hint of sharpness, much like Bleach itself, the dynamic between the two hitting just the right notes. I especially <3 Ishida, who was just... kinda right, somehow. *sigh* I'm officially not getting away from this pairing, aren't I? (Ishida/Ichigo.)

- Bleach - Wake-Up Call by Triste - Ahahahahaha, Ichigo, Ishida, and Isshin. XD XD XD The idea will probably never get old and it is for exactly the reasons such as this--because Isshin is a GRAND character in the series and Triste does him beautifully here. His reasons for waking Ichigo up the way he does every morning are perfect and I could just absolutely see him throughout the entire fic. But it's also the absolutely smooth, good writing that fits the Bleach style, that has all these little details (all the things that Ichigo throws at Isshin when he wakes him up XD) and just... I think part of what makes me delightfully happy about this story is that Isshin is just so... Isshin in that he doesn't even blink at the Ishida/Ichigo relationship, he just bounces over with his usual enthusiasm. For some reason, that made me so happy and fell in love with the story and the characters all over again. Plus, Isshin and Ichigo's relationship was PERFECT. So funny. Great fic. Go read now. <3 (Some Ishida/Ichigo, but more implied than anything.)

- Gravitation - Chocolate is the Food of Love by Aoi Umi - There's just something about Shuuichi wanting to bake Yuki chocolate for Valentine's Day and being forced to call his sister (And I loved that the author worked in Shuuichi's family's love of Yuki Eiri! XD) and absolutely nothing goes quite right until the end of the day when it's somehow not so bad. The author does well with the concept and it was really kinda nice to see Shuuichi having a conversation with Maiko and being a spaz, but not in a parody way, not over the top. Plus, the ending was adorable and thus I go <3. (Yuki/Shuuchi.)

- Yami no Matsuei - Red Ribbons - The Elements Of - Silken - Cherry Petals - Threads - by Emily - Di-chan first pointed these drabbles out to me and I've been following avidly since and now that the mini-series is complete, I had to gush about them. The author just nails what makes Hiraki work for me, the tragedy and beauty of the pairing, that it's awful, but so pretty and there's something there that's fascinating to me. The different stages of love were beautifully done and, oh, the ending packs such the punch. Loved these. *__* (Muraki/Hisoka.)

- Gokusen - Oi. by Moon Klutz - OMG! Gokusen fic! ShinKumi, good Gokusen fic! I never expected such a thing! But it was very nice, capturing Shin's character especially well, really insightful and sparkling and the author clearly got the characters. The little examples that flitted through Shin's mind (like the position of the desks depending on the teacher or the way he would divert the other students' attention) were perfect and the way he looked at Yankumi... it was such a good example of why I buy this couple, why I've been won over to them. *bounces* Good Gokusen fic! YAY! I totally need more of these two. <3 (Shin/Yankumi.)

- One Piece - Lies by Yochan - I could swear I'd read/rec'd this story before, but I can't find it in my listings, blah, blah, blah. Anyway, this is Zoro/Sanji sex a little more violent than I usually read, but I can't say I disagree, either, given that the intensity and antagonism that was genuine, but still you knew they didn't hate hate each other. The writing is lovely and they're fighting even in the middle of sex, furious and angry. Plus, I adored the final line, that's just pure One Piece right there. XD (Zoro/Sanji, NC-17.)

- One Piece - The Walls Have Eyes by Kinbu - Two things made me like this story--the hint of lime with Zoro and Sanji, which was very nice, lots of pretty images in my head and leaving me in a good mood. The second was the end, which was quite amusing and totally left me laughing afterwards. *laughs* God, I would do the same in a heartbeat. So much fun. (Zoro/Sanji.)

- Kodomo no Omocha - The Language of Flowers by meemee - The first half of this fic is really an almost sweet interaction between Sana and Natsumi about flowers and the meanings behind them. And then I clapped my hands together in delight/glee when Hayama, in that way he has, asked to borrow the book of flower meanings, sending Sana some flowers the next day. And the second half of the story? Perfect. So very perfect for Hayama and Sana. XD XD XD (Hayama/Sana.)

- Kodomo no Omocha - The Sound of Waves by meemee - Oh, god. More Sana and Hayama, this time at the BEACH. Such great fun and just so like the two of them, right down to Sana loading the car down with every possible thing they might need to the way Hayama pushes her into the waves when she gets too sappy. The ending, once again, is absolutely perfect for these two and I utterly cracked up at the end. I just... yeah, this deserves a better rec, but instead you're just going to have to go read it. So Hayama and Sana, really. <3 (Hayama/Sana.)

- Prince of Tennis - Why "Do It Yourself" Isn't by Penguin - I do so look forward to Pengie's entries in the 30 kisses comm (or, really, just about anything she writes) because it seems like every time, I'm left in a heap of shaking, giggling fangirl by the time I'm done. Just... all the little details! From Sanada's frustration with putting together the toy cradle for Yukimura's little sister to the creepy as hell doll (WHICH WAS USED BEAUTIFULLY) to Yukimura's interaction with his little sister to THAT BEAUTIFUL ENDING... all of it is truly funny comedy that you don't see nearly often enough these days. I mentioned I was over here in a pile laughing my ass off, yes? Excellent Funneh here. (Sanada/Yukimura.)

- XXXholic - Mourning by Tari Gwaemir - I can't figure out how I feel about this story, if I agree/disagree, if it makes me want to cry, if I find it bittersweet, if I should smile at the end, if it's uplifting, or a little of everything. Probably that last one. But what I do know is that it's beautiful and is so very Yuuko, especially after Clow's death. I could just absolutely see this, right down to the watching magic unravel and rewind itself back into intricate patterns. Very CLAMP-ish and very much like Clow and Yuuko's characters. *curls up in the corner and is depressed* (Faint Clow/Yuuko if you want to see it that way, but closer to gen.)

Dude, the ending of PGSM is...insane. INSANE. At first it's really stupid, and then suddenly, it gets good. And then you watch the special and it's stupid. I was so confused. ...But I love it. XD
