ARASHI: Six Things Ohno Likes About Matsumoto Jun by souzoushite - I... really liked this piece. I like the little details of it, I like the way the author puts them into words, but even more than that, I like that Ohno notices things in that Ohno sort of way. He doesn't really comment on them, he just sort of accepts Jun the way he is and they just sort of quietly fit together. Every time I reread the fic, I marvel at what a lovely flow this fic has, how all the little details and character insights weave into the narrative, but how much I usually agree with them, when I'm usually so fussy about these things. Both of them are really well-written, working in all the little things we know about them, but not using them in place of characterization, and just. It's fun reading about Ohno and Jun like this. It's a bit more serious than you might expect, but it's not serious serious fic and somehow this, too, works for Ohno and Jun. <3 (Jun/Ohno. The author labels it NC17, but I'd barely count it as R, if even that.)

ARASHI: giving souvenirs by Aki - You know what? I like to think this is exactly how it goes when Sho gives his bandmates totally awesome presents that have interesting cultural notes to go with them and his stupid bandmates act like a bunch of bitches about it. It has that feeling of the old T no Arashi segments that were so great and you know they never stopped messing with Sho in exactly this manner. ♥ (No real warnings/pairings.)

ARASHI: the return of the caster in time for MS by Aki - And this one is just fun! For all that his stupid bandmates are stupid and probably kind of make Sho want to drink heavily sometimes a lot, even when they're a bunch of bitches who tie him up and all molest him at once, you can still tell how much he really does adore them. And I really liked all the little details Aki worked into this, the way Sho can tell whom each of them are and what they're doing to him and what he knows about them. <3 (Arashi/Arashi, slightly NSFW.)

ARASHI: Jun wants to feed Ohno some cake too by Aki - How much do I love Jun and his totally obvious crush on Ohno? A WHOLE LOT. I love that, of course, the way to tempt Ohno into the outside world and over to Jun's apartment is through food. And I love Ohno A WHOLE LOT, especially the way he tries to eat the carrot cake that Jun has made, while Jun practically has a seizure over it, and then I love them both (and Aki) when they're gay at each other and YES PLZ. ♥ (Ohno/Jun.)

Bleach: holding out your hands to the living by incandescens - I'm finally starting to go through the springking backlog and one of the first ones I stumbled over was this really beautiful Bleach piece with Rukia and Orihime. Usually when I read about the two of them, I'm doing so for shipping purposes, but I found that I actually really liked this one better just the way it was, a sort of gentle atmosphere to the piece, two girls who are very different but have very important things in common and I love the use of the parallel of their older brothers. It's a wonderful fic for both characters, I love the insight into Rukia's character, I love how much she notices about Orihime, I love how pretty this fic is. It was a really wonderful read. (No warnings/pairings.)

Bleach: Fear (For Him) by shinebunny - Well, I can hardly let a post with Bleach recs go by without seeking out an Ichigo/Orihime fic, now can I? I was all prepared for this fic to be just pure fluff, which I like sometimes. Even if they have a lot more going on underneath the fluffy moments, Ichigo/Orihime is a pairing that can do fluff really well and not be boring or OOC about it. But then the author contrasted the two different points in her life, what "fear" used to mean to Orihime and what it means now and it grew into this really lovely little bittersweet fic. I really quite liked this. <3 (Ichigo/Orihime.)

Cardcaptor Sakura: Simple Harmony. by allira_dream - As much as it obviously fits with the series, I'm generally not one much for fluffy Touya/Yukito fic and I'm not sure why. But certain authors will get me to read just about anything and I've liked all of this author's other fic that I've read, so I gave it a shot. And I'm glad I did, because it's this really sweet, light-hearted little piece about Touya and Yukito moving in together and it's just so... happy and peaceful and them. It's really nice to think of things going this way and the two of them being so happy like this. <3 (Touya/Yukito.)

Cardcaptor Sakura: Counting the Days that Pass Me By. by allira_dream - And, as long as I was reading CCS fic, I stopped to read this one as well, which is another one I'm really so glad that I did because it's... not something I've seen done before, I don't think? Not that I read that much CCS fic anymore. But I adored this, for the dynamic between Yukito and Nakuru, still so similar to the canon relationship, but also subtly changed after all those years, and the way Yukito reacts to Touya's death and how she reacts to that and it's just. It's really a great piece and totally got me all meepy at the end there, in a really lovely bittersweet way. It was just right. <3 (Touya/Yukito.)

Chrestomanci: Chrestomanci drabbles by toasty_fresh - I picked up the link for this series of drabbles from Aishuu's rec post because I really like the Chrestomanci fic she recommends and this series is really interesting. It does start a little abruptly, but it quickly turns into an intriguing piece that... well, now that the author mentions it, yes, the Gwendolyn - Janet thing did seem awfully glossed over. I really like the series of drabbles that are used to show the reactions of the characters, from someone who's sort of an outsider and not really getting all of this, and is really well-written. (No warnings/pairings.)

Chrestomanci: With Nothing but a Plastic Salad Fork by toasty_fresh - You know what I've always wanted more of in the Chrestomanci series? Mostlly from the books, but also from the fandom. Stories set during Gabriel's time as Chrestomanci while Christopher isn't quite the Christopher we know yet, but is definitely getting there--this is why I was so very fond of Conrad's Fate, I suspect. So this fic filled a little bit of that need, because it's about the four friends getting in trouble and trying to spin a yarn as a way to get out of it and failing rather badly, but it's so delightful and charming that it's just the way it would go, I imagine. This was really fun! (No warnings/pairings.)

Katekyou Hitman REBORN!: Rain is falling, looks like Love by arttype - I'll admit upfront that the use of ampersands instead of the word "and" distracted me all the way through this fic, so I could never fully read the fic properly, but it is still a very lovely piece of writing. The casual, almost laid-back atmosphere of the story, even while Tsuna's sort of cracking under the stress of everything that happens between the current time and TYL, it really works for this pairing. The writing itself is clean and smooth, but has some nice turns of phrase, and I really like the way it's paced, you get a sense of time passing and how much Tsuna's gone through, and even a really interesting take on Yamato's scar. I don't see much Yamamoto/Tsuna fic, so I don't read much, but this is about how I imagine it would go. (Yamamoto/Tsuna.)

Katekyou Hitman REBORN!: The Art and Absolute Pitch of Healing by arttype - I'd read the author's Yamamoto/Tsuna fic before I spotted this one, which you'd think I'd have seen this one first, wouldn't you? But I'm kind of glad I saw this one second because it's breathtaking in how beautiful it is. It's set in the TYL timeframe and it's centered around a piano room that Tsuna had built for Gokudera, who hasn't played in a long time, and every inch of this fic is about sadness and loss and still carrying on and not letting others' efforts go to waste. The way the author ties everything together, the way she writes both characters, the way she writes a turn of phrase, it's all lovely and one of the best pieces I've read about these characters. Honestly, it deserves a better rec than this, but I'm just sort of incoherent about it right now. It hits every note it's reaching for beautifully and that's no small thing. *__* (Implied Gokudera/Tsuna, but it could really be gen/on the level of canon just about.)

Katekyou Hitman REBORN!: Maybe by loveandetc - One thing I'm not sure I quite agree with the fic on is the way Dino reacts to a dangerous Hibari--who should be feared, but I think Dino can hold his own, has shown that and he knows it, too. But. At the same time, the fic was going for humor and something hot, which it accomplished in both respects. It made me smile, it had some great lines, it was a little like a doujinshi in novel form, and the image of Hibari snuggling in his sleep and having no idea and never once losing that dangerous and lethal air was great. I really loved the Hibari characterization here and would really like to see more from this author. XD (Dino/Hibari.)

Kateyou Hitman REBORN! Doujinshi (raw) - Heaven2 - I don't know if this doujinshi will be for everyone, it's very... well, doujinshi in a lot of ways, but I was intrigued by it because the art looked warm and sunny and kind of sweet, I'm weak to that even with D18 sometimes. I don't if not knowing the story helps or hinders, but I found the download was worth it because, man, does the artist do a hot Dino. He's got all that hair that's in his eyes over the surprisingly intense eyes and the tattoos and yes plz. Her porn isn't bad at all, either. It's a little on the light side, probably closer to R than NC-17, but I'm fine with that. It was just a nice little fix that I wanted for today, a new artist I hadn't seen any doujinshi from before, and somehow hit me in the right mood. <3 The first few pages that are posted on the actual post are a pretty good indication of what you're getting with this doujinshi--sometimes it's really well done, sometimes it's not perfect, but I enjoyed it and the cover was pretty. XDb (Dino/Hibari, NSFW.)

Katekyou Hitman REBORN! Doujinshi (scanslated) - This Fever is the Miracle Called Love - [Note: This post is locked, so you'll have to join the comm to see it.] This doujinshi hit me just right tonight. Maybe I'm just really easy for Dino/Hibari or maybe I was just in the right mood or maybe something else, but this is the kind of thing I love. I don't know how I would have felt about it if it were raw, but because I understood the story going along with it, Hibari's reactions were so much more interesting. He's so... flat and direct and almost bored by everything Dino does to him, yet he doesn't hate it, which says so much right there. There's a very... almost dreamy quality to this, the kind that I often associate with Japanese writing, but that I've come to like over the years. This is a very laid-back, almost dreamy-quality doujinshi again, but the art is pretty and I genuinely enjoyed it. ♥ (Dino/Hibari.)

Katekyou Hitman REBORN! Doujinshi (raw) - If The Sky Falls, We Shall Catch Larks - [Note: You'll have to scroll down a bit to find the link for this doujinshi.] I have a great fondness for the idea of Yamamoto/Hibari, even if they don't really interact that much, so when I saw a doujinshi for them, I went ahead to grab it. While this one is really mild, it's a lot of really cute G-rated scenes, it was kind of surprisingly sweet and warm, despite that Hibari seemed pretty IC. I think I was just won over by the several pages of Yamamoto watching Hibari sleeping on the school roof and when he finally reaches out to touch Hibari, there's suddenly a tonfa ready to crush his windpipe. The art is very cute and close enough to canon in certain panels (while total cute doujinshi in other panels) that I enjoyed this a lot. ♥ (Yamamoto/Hibari.)

Katekyou Hitman REBORN! Doujinshi (raw) - Mad Hatter Tea Party - [Note: You'll have to scroll down a bit to find the link for this doujinshi.] This doujinshi is... basically, a birthday party for Hibari (or so one assumes) as thrown by Dino. Which goes... about as well as you'd expect, honestly. The art style is kind of messy, but in that way that I kind of like and there are a lot of great panels of Hibari looking super-pissed or Dino looking cheerfully eager to be around Hibari. There's a lot of detail in the art, but I found that I enjoyed this doujinshi mostly for the close-ups of the characters, which is where they tended to look the hottest. It also has a really adorable ending. XD (Dino/Hibari.)

Katekyou Hitman REBORN! Doujinshi (raw) - Volpe Carnevale - [Note: You'll have to scroll down a bit to find the link for this doujinshi.] So you know what this doujinshi started out with? On the very first page? Dino waking up in the same bed as Hibari, looking sleepily over at his partner, both of them not wearing a thing, and... seeing Hibari with a fox tail and ears. A++++++, doujinshi! I see you know my weaknesses and shamelessly play on them. Like, there are a few panels of imagined!Iyaaaa!Hibari with his new ears and tail, but then the real Hibari wakes up and as;dlfkjaslkj the look in his eyes. And, yeah, overall, the doujinshi probably could have made Hibari more IC (he got progressively more and more mild throughout it), it could have tightened up on the art, but it shamelessly played on my low class trashy tastes and I loved it for that. XDb (Dino/Hibari.)

Katekyou Hitman REBORN! Douninshi (raw) - Due cose - [Note: You'll need to join the community to see this post, but the comm should be freely joinable.] I... honestly have no idea what the hell was going on in this doujinshi. I think it was a handful of stories that only lasted a few pages each? It was tough to get even a gist of the storyline, but I didn't let that deter me from enjoying the art. I have a fondness for this kind of style, the messy kind that has a lot of detail in it and makes characters like Dino and Hibari look really kind of smoking hot. Dino's hair especially omg. The final story (with Hibari having cut his hair for the earrings) shouldn't have worked, but the two panels that show Dino's reaction and then Hibari's reaction to that, were kind of LOL, so I totally forgave the doujinshi. I really enjoyed this one, it was pretty! XD (Dino/Hibari, not quite safe for work.)

Katekyou Hitman REBORN! Doujinshi (raw) - Soreyuke! Dino-san - This doujinshi is definitely not going to be for everyone, it's the kind that has almost chibi-esque drawings, where the characters' heads are a little too big for their bodies and almost look a little like bobble-headed dolls. But what won me over anyway is that, once you got past the anatomy, there was actually a surprising amount of really kind of nice art with this one, it was even kind of consistently decent a lot of the time. Plus, it's Dino/Hibari and it's super-cute! There are some really great panels, especially when a give character gets a really determined look on their face or gets pissed off. There's even kind of a really hot Dino/Mukuro fight scene! *___* And, really, that's all I ask out of doujinshi. XD (Dino/Hibari.)

Katekyou Hitman REBORN! Doujinshi (raw) - Kore Kara mo Zutto - This doujinshi does do the almost anorexic looking bodies thing for both Dino and Hibari (the latter especially) but the basic style of art of it otherwise is really kind of hot. There's a surprising amount of detail, there's some fantastic hair on both of them and on page 7 or so, Hibari gets the best expression ever. Also, porn! \o/ The sex is well-drawn, it's certainly not shy about being graphic, and there are a few really amazing panels mixed in. And some total adorableness with Dino being all sunny while Hibari is all flat right back at him and this was just. Nice to have today. ♥ (Dino/Hibari, NC-17.)

Katekyou Hitman REBORN! Doujinshi (raw) - Fatti Baciare - [Note: You'll need to join the community to see this post, but the comm should be freely joinable.] This is a very short doujinshi, it's only five pages long, but I had to recommend it because I really liked the art and because it has Hibari casually slamming his book shut on Dino's face. There's also some making out and a little PG-13 petting, but it was mostly just a really short, fun read for that and the art. <3 (Dino/Hibari, maybe not quite SFW, but not graphic, either.)

Katekyou Hitman REBORN! Doujinshi (raw) - Last Human - [Note: You'll need to join the community to see this post, but the comm should be freely joinable.] This is another super-short doujinshi (eight pages this time), but, well. It's Dino/Hibari and I genuinely liked the art a lot, plus it's a nice stop on my doujinshi spree today. Some panels do look better than others, but I admit to a really, really strong weakness to Hibari sleeping on the couch about halfway through this and HOLY CRAP is Dino wrapping Hibari up in his coat and snuggling with him while Hibari looks ready to murder the world such an A+ image. Also, brief makeouts! \o/ (Dino/Hibari.)

Katekyou Hitman REBORN! Doujinshi (raw) - Boss ni Matatabi - [Note: You'll need to join the community to see this post, but the comm should be freely joinable.] I almost just downloaded this one and stuck it away in my files to look at later (or probably never, honestly) but then thought, no, I shouldn't do just Dino/Hibari doujinshi recs. And I like Xanxus/Squalo. So I gave it a shot, despite that it's only 7 pages long (since it's part of an anthology) and I'm glad I did, it was a cute, easy little thing to go through and reminded me of why Xanxus/Squalo is actually really kinda hot. (Xanxus/Squalo.)

- Bleach - Blue-SYSTEMa [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - The Arrancar are not my usual favorites or ones I seek out fanart for, my focus simply lies elsewhere. But sometimes I come across sites so gorgeous that I'll drop pretty much everything else I'm doing to just tear through the gallery and goddamn this art is pretty as hell. Szayel is especially gorgeous, but they all look fantastic and there's a lot of it here and I just. as;dlkjasl pretty! A lot of the illustrations are almost sketches, but there's a good amount of nicely detailed art as well. Mostly it's focused on the Arrancar, of course, but Ichigo and Ishida get a fair amount as well. There are some really pretty Ishida ones and while I generally don't favor him being too girly, I'm totally willing to look past that when the author plays with the bow&arrow theme or draws him with musical instruments or in religious clothing, because her details can be amazing. It was a nice site to come across this morning, I had fun! (Some Ichigo/Ishida, some yaoi with the Arrancar.)

- Katekyou Hitman REBORN! - [ English Fanart Site ] - You can find all the REBORN! art from here, but I think the whole gallery is worth going through. The style is a little messy, but in combination with the pretty, almost glowing colors or the really sharp lines, somehow I was really fond of it. The artist does a really awesome job on both Tsuna and Mukuro especially, but her Hibari is pretty damn hot and thus three danger is probably my favorite of hers. The details on that piece, the colors on it, the hot as hell poses! That is what I love about REBORN! fanart. Though, I also have to say Vongola Primo is a seriously gorgeous as hell b&w image of Tsuna. *__* Totally worth checking out and maybe even wandering through the artist's other stuff. (Some Mukuro/Tsuna, mostly gen, I'd say.)

- Katekyou Hitman REBORN! - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - It took me awhile to warm up to this site and... I have to admit, if I'd gone through the main gallery first--which I usually do, I just happened to stumble over the comic links first, which I rarely do--I might have wandered off from this site. But I opened all the comic pages links and, as I was going through them, there's this one multi-page thing from the artist that... right about page six or seven actually gets to be really kinda pretty. She has a somewhat simple style, but it works really well in b&w, her lines are sharp and everything looks really clean and, okay, I'm biased because it's Tsuna/Gokudera and I'm easier for that. But I do genuinely recommend that comic, it was a nice little site to stumble over today. <3 (Tsuna/Gokudera.)

- Naruto - [ English Fanart Site ] - Every so often, I still come across Naruto art sites and often times this is because I've been browsing around for Naruto/Sakura art, I admit. >__> I'm not sure when I began to ship them rather seriously, but I have always liked them, all the way back from when the first few episodes came out (just, I got distracted by other pairings for awhile), so they're one of the ones I keep returning for. What caught my eye with this artist originally was the colors, the anime cel-style coloring that really does come pretty close to canon. And you can tell that the images are fanart, of course, but some of them come damn close to looking like they're on the level of official art and I love it when artists can do that. But even more than that, it's the handful of illustrations that show off the artist's love for the pairing and reminds me of why I like them so much. There's not a lot here, but the ANBU ones totally won me over, shut up. XD (Naruto/Sakura.)

- Natsume Yuujinchou - oyaji [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - So, I whined and whined about there not being any proper Natsume Yuujinchou fanart sites that I could find and velvetiine was totally a sweetheart and linked me to the Natsume Yuujinchou search engine and, oh, boy, did I start to have fun then! This is one of the first sites I found and, while there's not a whole lot of art here, the illustrations in the gallery are really very pretty and capture what I liked about the series so much--that soft, gentle, pretty feeling of summer colors and Japanes folklore and pretty Natsume. I definitely wish there'd been more art, but this was a nice start. (No warnings/pairings.)

- Natsume Yuujinchou - [ Chinese Fanart Site ] - This is another site that only has a handful of illustrations (hopefully just for now) but I was really charmed by them because they used pretty, light colors, often times almost purely summery pastels that the series itself uses. The images are almost a little sketch-like, but it works for the artist's style and creates a pretty, light, airy feeling with them and I'm especially fond of the way it makes her Natsume look. I definitely wish there had been more art here as well, but hopefully in the future? ♥ (No real warnings/pairings.)

- Natsume Yuujinchou - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Is... is that Madara with a human form?? Molesting Natsume?? I... oh, man, I did not know that I needed to see this until it was right in front of me and now it's kind of YES PLZ DO WANT. I don't know that I'd need a ton of it, but this one artist is FANTASTIC for it because it's just... you know it'd totally happen at some point if you gave Madara half a chance. The art is very solid and almost simple in a lot of places, but the lines are solid and the colors are clean and it definitely intrigued me. Worth a look through if you don't mind the idea, I'd say, even if I don't know if I would have clicked on it ahead of time knowing. I thought it was kinda cool, though, for this once. (Madara/Natsume.)

- Natsume Yuujinchou - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I've been here for the artist's Gintama fanart before, but I don't think it was until recently that there was much Natsume Yuujinchou art here and it's the kind I am very fond of! It's very CG in style, almost simple in some ways, but with a surprising amount of detail put into the whole image, there's not a whole lot left blank on the proper illustrations. There are only a couple for now, but there are also some junk sketches that are almost even better, you can see the skill of the artist even more--there's one of Reiko that just looks fantastic. Plus, the one of Natsume with Reiko in the background is worth the site alone, I think. So, only a handful of images here, but they're very nice. <3 (No warnings/pairings.)

- One Piece - [ English Fanart Site ] - You know what pairing I'm still kind of weak to, even though I'm not really sure why? Zoro/Nami. I kind of went back and forth on this artist, mostly because I wasn't sure I wanted to get into One Piece fanart this morning, but I eventually caved because I really kind of like the artist's style. It's similar to the canon feel, but it's still the artist's own take on things, but it's got that sense of... kick-ass, hardcore characters that I love so much about One Piece. I love the sense of hot, sexy characters with these two, because that's part of what I love about the idea of them, probably what makes me ship them--because I think they'd be hot together. This artist played nicely into that. XD Also, there's a Luffy/Nami/Zoro b&w image in the gallery and I won't lie, it was pretty hot, too. (Zoro/Nami.)

- Sailor Moon - [ English Fanart Site ] - Oh, man, how weak am I to this artist's kind of style? SO VERY WEAK. Soft, pretty pastel colors! Lots of long, flowing hair and dresses! Vivid, almost glowing colors! Tons of cute little details! I AM VERY WEAK. The reason I'm recommending this artist is because there's a series of Neo Sailor Senshi, with prettily designed costumes for them, lots of beads and nicely draped fabrics and great use of light, air colors, and ribbons and bows, and I just-- yes, plz. One of the best things about Sailor Moon is the epic plot of it and this plays right into that and I had to recommend it for that series alone. Though, there's also a really pretty Chibi Moon illustration a little further into the gallery! (No real warnings/pairings.)

- Tales of the Abyss - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I sort of hesitated over this site for awhile, mostly because I wasn't sure I was in the mood for ToA fanart at the time. But I kept clicking randomly through the gallery and, the more illustrations I saw, the more I was slowly won over. There's a really great one with Luke in a white version of a God- Generals outfit and a really cool one of Luke and Asch in modern clothes and some nicely done genderswapped illustrations and a really gorgeous Guy illustration and a pretty Luke/Tear one and some very pretty Guy/Luke and well. Eventually, even if it's not perfect or not everyone's cup of tea, there were a lot of images I really liked on it and I thought the style was well-done. There's also some cute stuff on the oekaki section--including an Asch/Natalia one that I wish had been bigger and wolf ears on Luke and a Peony/Luke sketch--rounding out the site nicely. (Some gen, some Guy/Luke, some Asch/Luke, some other, some gen. Watch out for the genderswitch in some galleries.)

- Tales of the Abyss - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - This is another site that I sort of waffled on for a bit, but eventually decided that, yeah, I was in a ToA mood this morning and I was especially ready for some Ion/Anise art, since that pairing gets all too little attention. The art isn't going to be for everyone and I don't know if I'd have hung around if it weren't a favored pairing of mine, but. I think it's really cute! The artist puts in a surprising amount of detail and has some super-cute poses/concepts and the chibi-style look really grew on me. It's a really fun site to spend some time on, especially if you like these characters. <3 (Ion/Anise, Sync/Anise, some Ion/Arietta, maybe a little Sync/Arietta, some gen.)

- Tales of the Abyss - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Okay, I came really, really close to not recommending this site, purely because I wasn't sure there was enough art here to justify it. But every time I would come across a ToA image in the gallery, I would think, "Man, I wish there were more this series on the site." And then. Then I got to an illustration of the Keterburg cast all ganging up on poor Saphir and I was in love. I had to totally cave just for that one image alone because it made me happy in my soul. <3 The art is very cute, it's got slick colors and they almost kind of shine and are very clean, I like it a lot. Really, my only complaint is that I wanted more. XD (No real warnings/pairings.)

- Tales of Destiny - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - It kind of took me a rather embarrasingly long time to figure out where the main galleries on this site were, but! Eventually I found them! And, okay. See, I have this thing. I don't really know Tales of Destiny that well, I'm mostly just familiar with the manga, which I read for a friend. (Shut up! It's not like I'm writing the fic or anything! I'm just looking at the pretty art!) And because I didn't know much about it going in, I was kind of, "....I want to ship Leon and Rutee, is that wrong?" before I knew who they were to each other. And, yet, like that really completely stopped me. So, when I come across a site that is all about the two of them, I'm going to be weak to the art. Rutee and Leon are both really cute on the site and the b&w with just a hint of color style really works well for this artist! It's mostly oekaki-style art, but the artist is really consistent and does these characters well, I love a mostly black and white image with just their eyes in vivid color or the bright red of Rutee's outfit or the blue of Leon's. It's a cool effect and there's a decent amount here. I'm happy. <3 (....I'm not sure if this is Leon/Rutee or just gen. I could see it either way.)

- Vampire Knight/Katekyou Hitman REBORN!/Naruto - [ English Fanart Site ] - God only knows what I was looking for when I stumbled over this site, possibly looking at random Naruto art, but then spied the Vampire Knight fanart in the artist's gallery. And I was curious. I like the REBORN! and Naruto art a lot, both of them, but it's the VK art that really made me sit up and take notice because there's something about the artist's style that works so well with the characters and style of the manga. And I... I mean, I like Zero/Yuuki and I ship it as the OTP, but... with Kaname/Zero... I've always liked the idea (and Hino seriously totally fucking encourages it) and this artist draws them gorgeously. There's not a lot of REBORN! art here on the other hand, but. I am weak to this style, with the soft colors and long lines and cg styling, it's one of those that might not be for everyone, but I like seeing it sometimes. (Some Kaname/Zero for VK. Some Sasuke/Naruto for Naruto. Gen for pretty much all three.)

- Yu-Gi-Oh! - [ English Fanart Site ] - I was actually looking at REBORN! art and wandering through deviantART and just happened to stumble over some Yuugi art. I started clicking around and pretty soon I ended up on this artist's account and I'm so very glad I did because, wow, that's some gorgeous stuff. The colors and details and poses and and everything are all just fantastic, everything is beautiful, but Current is one of the best pieces I've seen in the fandom, I think. Pretty much ever. And, man, this is the kind of art that makes me really sort of want to pick up the manga again. *___* (No real warnings/pairings.)

I think I'm better able to handle comments now, I was getting kind of stressed over them for awhile, what with trying to do a little too much at once. AND I KIND OF MISSED BEING ABLE TO FLAIL OVER STUFF IN COMMENTS, TOO.

I don't think any fandom I've ever been in before has ever been this free and amazing with the doujinshi before? Not even Naruto or Prince of Tennis can touch how much REBORN! exploded out of the gate with doujinshi. *___*

It's good to know there are more Natsume fans out there! ♥

And, shit, sometimes I can catch that, but every so often a Chinese site will sneak in when I'm not paying attention and I'll miss it. But thank you for the head's up on that, especially for catching it right away, it makes it so much easier to fix! ♥

The wonders of what a google-search can turn up! Thankyou so much for the links to the Natsume fanart. I've been craving that desperately.

I know exactly how you feel, I was going through the exact same feeling after I marathoned the show and it was so hard to find anything. Until someone kindly supplied me with the link for the Nabari search and... well, it's still far too small of a fandom, but. *__*

Welcome back then in that case! ♥ And you're more than welcome, it's a joy to do and knowing it can help some people just makes it that much better.

For the most part the Dino/Hibari doujinshi get posted to the main [livejournal.com profile] hitman_reborn, but you'll have to scroll through a lot of other stuff, too. [livejournal.com profile] shin_kitsune posts a lot of doujinshi as well, though, again you'll have to scroll a lot. XD You can try the [livejournal.com profile] dinohiba comm as well, but iirc not that much doujinshi gets posted there. Your best bet is the main comm and going back through the archives. ♥

I'm glad I found it again, it's really amazing-all the different recs and how you take time out to do this. I think last time i found it was for Prince of Tennis, so its really nice to find all that again.

Ah thank you for the links. I will have to check them both out-I'm really new to the Reborn fandom-started reading a few months ago but then lost my place and forgot about it.
