ARASHI: The Dangers of a Nice Thought by Kya - Oh, god, this was so cute and sweet and adorable! Ohno has a nice thought about Nino, shares it in an Ohno sort of way, and it just. Snowballs from there. Jun making fun of Nino for it is my new favorite thing in the world ever, because it's so hilarious and easy to see, but also the Ohmiya in this is adorable and warm-hearted and just. It's the kind of fluff that makes me feel all warm and fluffy on the inside, too. (Ohno/Nino.)
Glee: Four Times Karofsky Dreams He’s in a Movie, and One Time He Doesn’t by Telanu - I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about this fic, I'm often wary of fics that incorporate movie selections into a character's thought processes/dreams, because it usually feels a little too ~*coincidental*~, but I was still curious. So I read. And this fic is why I still give this kind of fic a chance, because this was intense as hell, the selection of movies (and tv shows) really worked and I could believe that they're the kind that would run across Karofsky's mind and dreams. And the way Kurt occupies his thoughts, the longing and yearning and anger and frustration all mixed together was beautifully done. It's almost a painful look at Dave Karofsky, it kind of hurts to read at points, especially when the author deals with the kiss in the locker room, but in the kind of way that does justice to the characters she's writing about. As much as I want things to go in a good direction, I like the way this sort of... hangs there, with so much potential for disturbing and painful directions, too. Just. All the way around, this was beautifully written. (Karofsky/Kurt.)
Glee: the grand facade so soon will burn by badboy_fangirl - I picked up this link from here and decided, well, as long as I'm letting Glee break my heart again (by being involved with it at all), I might as well pick up some Puck/Rachel fic at the same time. And I can't really regret that because this fic was so good and so well-written and it just sailed right by and it reminded me of why I shipped them in the first place. They have crazy good chemistry in this fic, with Rachel being rather delightfully crazy and obsessive, while Puck tries to be a jerk but can't really let go of having a good heart underneath that. I love the attraction between them, I love the moment that sets it off with her in a little black dress, I love Rachel's crazy plan to get him to come to her, the way you can just feel that batshit crazy look come over her face and you want to cheer her on forever. I have really missed this Glee. ♥ (Puck/Rachel.)
Glee: (if you teach me) I Can Learn by badboy_fangirl - This is something I wish the show itself had touched on more than it did--how Rachel could have given advice on what it was like to be an adopted kid, especially with the conversation being between Puck and Rachel like this, since Puck was so reluctant to give up the baby. I really like how rough around the edges he is in this fic and how you can tell how much he cares, even when he's trying not to show it, and the conversation between him and Rachel was beautiful and perfect, even as brief as it was. It's one of those little missing scenes that fits together so well with the canon and just makes it better. (This is gen, but if you like Puck/Rachel, you should like this.)
Ouran Koukou Host Club Doujinshi (scanslated): Host Club no Host Club ni Yoru Host Ai Shikata - I sort of stumbled over this one randomly today and clicked on it out of curiosity... and then got Kyouya/Tamaki and Kaoru/Hikaru porn! Which is what I was going for and it was nicely done, but! I think I actually enjoyed this doujinshi for the Host Club-style humor it had as well--the twins being little shits to Tamaki while he's sleeping or the things Kyouya sees when he looks at a stuffed animal (which are dirty thoughts of Tamaki) while everyone else thinks he's seeing something horrifying or the thoughts running through Kyouya's head when the fangirls are reacting to him leaning on Tamaki, all of it just made me smile and laugh like a Host Club doujinshi should. ♥ (Kyouya/Tamaki, Kaoru/Hikaru, NC-17.)
- Dissidia: Final Fantasy - [ Pixiv Account ] - I already recommended this artist for their FFVII art, but then I saw they also had a bunch of Dissidia art as well and, hell, I'm still weak to that game. I really love this artist's style, the fine, sharp lines are lovely and the soft, airy colors work together really well with the style. Plus, the artist works Tifa into an adorable DFF comic and does beautiful art of Bartz and this series of images is kind of like a mix between Amano and Nomura's styles and yet feels in line with the artist's own style and it's just... really kind of an awesome little account to have stumbled over today! (Nothing consistent enough to warn for.)
- Final Fantasy VII - [ Pixiv Account ] - I was just wandering around Pixiv today and decided to hit up the FFVII art out of nowhere, then stumbled over this artist's account. There's not a ton of art there, but I was charmed by group images of Zack, Aerith, Tifa, and Cloud or some cute Cloud/Tifa art or some great series of sketches that have stand alones or Sephiroth/Zack interaction or more Zack/Aerith, and I'm just. Really fond of Cloud/Tifa and this artist clearly is, too. And and and! Zack/Aerith multi-page comic that's super cute with its blushing and almost kisses and happy smiles! Yeah, I'd do a lot for cute comics of them. ♥ (Cloud/Tifa, Zack/Aerith.)
- Final Fantasy VII - [ Pixiv Account ] - Okay, sure, there are only four FFVII images here, but, whatever. There's beautiful art of Tifa, which made me happy right off the bat and is how I found the artist. But also. There's beautiful Aerith/Tifa art and I am all over that like you wouldn't believe. Fandom doesn't give me enough of those two, so when I see something as lovely and pretty as this artist does? Yeah, I'm totally on that. ♥ (Some possible Aerith/Tifa, some gen.)
- Final Fantasy VII - [ Pixiv Account ] - Speaking of Cloud/Tifa! Apparently, I'm on a roll today (at least with Tifa artists) and this artist has nearly fifty FFVII images in their gallery and it's all the kind of stuff I'm totally weak to. Cloud/Tifa wedding art or adorable as hell kids or Cloud carrying Tifa as she hangs on happily or happy makeout times or pretty art of Tifa leaning against Cloud's back as she puts her arms around him. I like how much art is here, it's nice to hit a gallery and go, "Oooh! So much to see!" and I like the artist's cute style and that there are occasional makeouts and all the things I'm weak for. You'll probably enjoy the site most if you're already a fan, because one of the best things about it is how it reminds me of just how hard I ship these two sometimes, but it's also genuinely lovely and worth a trip through if you like either character. (Cloud/Tifa.)

Sephiroth and Cloud fighting as he pins Cloud down with Masamune and there are roses strewn everywhere definitely made me sit up and take notice of the artist, but I also liked the solitary one of Cloud with his feet in the water as he sits near a bridge or Cloud at the Honeybee Inn which still brings a smile to my face. The artist has a solid sense of colors and draws some great Cloud images and always puts in a really good amount of detail and it's just. Really solid and fun all the way around. (No real warnings/pairings.)
- Pokemon - [ Pixiv Account ] - This artist totally hit me in my weak spots. There's some really pretty N fanart and then there's Silver being adorable and then there's Green and Red and then the artist just completely KO's me with Green in a labcoat and Green in glasses, all of them sharply drawn with glossy, shiny colors and, yeah, I'm done for by then. Of course part of it is that Green is my favorite character but it's also that the art is just plain good here and it kind of makes me want to hit up every Pokemon artist on Pixiv all over again. As much as I hate that feeling (because I'll never catch up), I have to admit that it's kind of a fun feeling, too. (No real warnings/pairings.)
- VOCALOID - [ Pixiv Account ] - You know, as much as I usually like to ship Kaito/Miku, there are times when I think I'd go on a spree or twelve for Luka/Miku as well. Which is what drew me to this artist, because it's all pretty and epic against a starry background or adorable chibis with epic hair glomping onto each other or cute Miku art with pretty colors or still more epic hair. I think it would help to be a fan of the ship or the characters--Miku especially, since she's often the biggest focus of the artist's work--to really like this site, which I totally am, so I was pleased with everything here. It's very cute, the colors are light and pretty pastels that work for these two and it was just really fun! (Some Luka/Miku, some gen, a little NSFW at times.)
