Honestly? I haven't seen a series this beautiful probably since Loveless. <---this is where you had me

I'd heard of Nabari no Ou, it's one of those series I've had the vague urge to get around to someday (and possibly would have let it slip through the cracks like I do so many other series that I intend to watch/read), but your description (and omg bless you for providing links, I love the aarinfantasy forums *__*) and mention of fandom beginning to gain momentum are the magic words for me.

I cannot resist pretty + a growing fandom. *___*

glad I could provide some motivation ^^;

I've only really found a few actual J-fanart sites, (though I know more must exist because I've seen the pictures from them here and there) but I'm not really that proficient at hunting those up (that's what I come to you for...o^^o) And I'm a little hesitant about reading fic just yet, because the series isn't over yet, and I don't want to "spoil my appetite" so to speak. Fic does exist, however, and the fandom grows every day. I'm crossing my fingers it continues to do so!

Sorry, I tend to gush when I get on the topic of Nabari.

(*cough* When or if ever you want whatever links I've scrounged up to Nabari fanart, I'd be happy to compile them for you)

So far I've watched only the first episode, but that was enough to get me intrigued with it, because OMG NINJAS EXCELLENT. The art is really pretty, too, and I can tell I already love the main character kind of ridiculous amounts.

I don't think I'm far enough in to probably be able to recognize most of the cast (if they're even all introduced yet), but I would love the fanart links! They'd be a place to start if nothing else! ♥

Ugh, you've kinda caught me at a bad time... My computer is threatening to crash and I'm in the process of moving all of my stuff to a new home. A lot of my favorites got misplaced in the shuffle (as I had to recover most of them from the ghost world of deletion)\

HOWEVER, there are these two that I emailed to myself a while back.

http://tieba.baidu.com/f?z=412098504&ct=335544320&lm=0&sc=0&rn=50&tn=baiduPostBrowser&word=%CF%FC%B7%E7&pn=0 --> Chinese. This person has a more put together site somewhere that can be accessed from this one, I'm sure, but I don't have any language decoders installed on my new system (and I kinda memorized how to get to things by what they looked like in chinese...>.<) Anyway, if you go to the last page that's where all his/her new stuff is, so this is where I go anyway. Sorry.

http://kururinryuka.fc2web.com/nagi.html --> This is one of my favorites ^______^ There are a lot of some characters you haven't seen yet, (same goes for the other site, for that matter) but I think you'll like what you find...

Anyway, those are the ones I have right off hand, but the nabari LJ communities and forums have many more links than I probably do anyway.

So, a week later, I have finished inhaling all of Nabari no Ou and it is all your fault but omfg so good. I'm not sure what I loved most about the series--the uber gay, the NINJA ACTION, or the pretty pretty art of the series.

But BLESS YOU for the links to getting started, I can see that the two you linked here are probably going to be my favorites (omg, both of them are stunning sites *__*) but I'm already opening, like, a million tabs.

I think Miharu is probably still my favorite character, but it surprises me how much I came to really like Yoite and I love pretty much everyone and a;sldkfjasljk how fucked up Kouichi is and how great Raimei is and I love Raikou a whole lot and OMFG Gau looks like the spitting image of Kirihara and--! *explodes*

I agree with you about Miharu--not even Raikou with his pink hair (which I have such a weakness for) could usurp his place. However this show was special to me because there were SO MANY characters to like.

I really did wind up liking everyone I was supposed to like (while I thought Hattori deserved a punch in the face, I was supposed to think that, obv.), often times a whole lot more than I thought I would. It was impressive how well they balanced everyone and kept them from falling into the annoying sides of the cliche stereotypes--especially since this series did play really heavily on stereotypical character types. <3
